Privacy Policy

QR Kit (“we”, “the site”) is a free browser tool for generating QR codes. This policy explains what happens when you use the generator, the privacy and terms pages, and any advertising we may display later.

What we do not collect

QR codes are created on your device with a client-side library. The URL, text, Wi-Fi credentials, or email fields you enter are not sent to our servers for generation, storage, or analytics. We do not require an account and we do not sell personal information.

Hosting and logs

The website files are served by a host (for example Vercel). Like most hosts, they may automatically record technical request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and the page requested. We do not use that data to identify you, and we do not run extra analytics or trackers on this site.

Advertising

The layout includes reserved ad slots. Ads are inactive until a Google AdSense publisher client ID and slot IDs are configured by the operator. When ads are enabled, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements according to Google’s Privacy Policy and advertising technologies. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings or via industry opt-out tools.

Cookies

The generator itself does not set cookies. If AdSense is later enabled, Google may set advertising cookies. Essential hosting cookies may be set by the platform that serves the site.

Downloads

PNG and SVG files are produced in your browser and saved through your device’s download prompt. We do not receive a copy of those files.

Children

The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
