QR Kit (“we”, “the site”) is a free browser tool for generating QR codes. This policy explains what happens when you use the generator and the privacy and terms pages.

What we do not collect

QR codes are created on your device, in your browser. The URL, text, Wi-Fi credentials, or email you enter are not sent to our servers for generation, storage, or analytics. We do not require an account and we do not sell personal information.

Hosting and logs

The website files are served by a host. Like most hosts, they may automatically record technical request data such as IP address, browser type, timestamp, and the page requested. We do not use that data to identify you. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous page views. We do not run advertising trackers.

Ads

QR Kit does not show ads. We do not use advertising cookies.

Cookies

The generator itself does not set cookies. We do not set advertising cookies. The host that serves the site may set cookies needed to deliver the pages.

Downloads

PNG and SVG files are produced in your browser and saved through your device’s download prompt. We do not receive a copy of those files.

Children

The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the site operator listed in the repository or hosting account that publishes QR Kit. We do not collect email addresses through the generator.
