Terms of Use
Last updated September 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of QR Kit, a free web tool that generates QR codes in the browser. By using the site you agree to this document and the Privacy Policy.
The service
QR Kit lets you encode URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, and email payloads, then download PNG or SVG files. The tool is provided at no charge, without an account, and without a warranty of uninterrupted availability.
Your content
You are responsible for the information you encode. Do not generate QR codes for malware, phishing, unlawful content, or anything that infringes another person’s rights. You keep whatever rights you already have in the files you download.
No guarantee of scannability
We aim for standard-compliant QR output, but scanners, printers, colors, and size choices can affect results. Preview on the devices you care about before you print or publish a code. Low-contrast colors and very small sizes are more likely to fail.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site or overload the host.
- Do not misrepresent QR Kit as the source of harmful or deceptive payloads.
- Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for other visitors.
Advertising
The pages include ad placeholders that may later display Google AdSense inventory. Ads, if shown, are provided by third parties and are subject to their terms.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost data, failed scans, or damages arising from content you choose to encode.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version with a revised date. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the site.
